Marshall Football: Ja'ree Tolbert Commits to Herd

Ja'ree Tolbert became the second football prospect to give Marshall a verbal commitment today, joining athlete Keion Davis. 

A defensive tackle, Tolbert joins the Thundering Herd from Florida's Miami Springs High School. He already boast college level size, standing 6-foot-2, 270 pounds. During his junior season Tolbert registered 40 tackles and nine sacks. After putting up those numbers the Miami Herald named him a All-Dade County honorable mention.

Although he lacked other scholarship offers Tolbert was receiving interest from Appalachian State, Connecticut, and Pittsburgh.
