First reported via his Facebook page, defensive tackle Josh Rimes has given a verbal commitment to Marshall University's football program.
During his junior season the 6-foot-1, 308 pound Rimes registered 36 tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery for LaBelle High School (FL). A two way player Rimes also recorded 15 pancake blocks along the offensive line.
Rivals.com rates rates Rimes as a two star prospect. Besides Marshall he also had scholarship offers from FIU and UCF.
Rimes is also a avid weight lifter. This year he won the FHSAA 1A power-lifting championship in the heavy weight division.
