I might be wrong but I do not remember parking being available any recent season. Again, I could be confused so feel free to correct me in the comments section. Although, if this is the first time stadium parking has been available it goes to show how much a poor economy and football performance can hurt the program. Those are great parking spots. If you are a Herd fan and have the means I can’t think of any reason you would not buy.

Limited Number of Parking Spots Available in Prime Lots
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall Athletic Department and Big Green office announced that a limited number of premium parking spaces are available for purchase for the 2009 football season. Priority to purchase will be given to current Big Green members.
The parking spaces are located in the annex lot on the corner of 20th street Fifth Avenue, on the west side of Joan C. Edwards Stadium and the south side of the Dot Hicks Softball Complex on Third Avenue. These lots require a $1,500 donation to the Big Green along with a $144 charge to purchase the spot.
Spot locations in the designated lots are valid for all six home football games this season and will be assigned by the athletic department and the Big Green office. Those who purchase the spots will have the opportunity to renew their spots for the 2010 season when the West Virginia Mountaineers come to Huntington.
Please contact Noel Hughes in the Big Green office at 304-696-3385 for more information.
