Sarasota (Fla.) Out of Door Academy tight end/defensive end Jamie Onufrak has verbally committed to Marshall University’s football program. Onufrak is huge, rivals.com has him listed at 6,5 230lbs. With Marshall’s depth at tight end, including fellow verbal commitment James Powers, it would not surprise me if Onufrak ended up on defense. Jamie Onufrak, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end/defensive end at ODA, has been to camps at Notre Dame, Tulane, Wake Forest and Duke. He believes it helps because he is playing at a Class A football program and people question the competition he faces.
"It costs a lot of money, but fortunately my family is able to deal with it," Onufrak said. "I did pretty well at the camps and those schools are considering me. I haven't gotten any offers, but they all seem pretty interested. We will see what happens as the process goes on."
