C-USA Football: Week Nine Review

In a match-up that determine Conference USA's East division leader, UCF traveled to Marshall and earned a 54-17 victory. With wins over ECU and the Herd, Central Florida controls their own destiny and has a clear path towards the league championship game. Speaking of ECU, they hosted Navy for C-USA's lone out of conference match-up and were blown out by the Midshipman, 56-28.

In cross division action, Tulane won its second league game of the year, taking down UAB 55-45. SMU kept its championship hopes alive with a 44-13 blowout win over Memphis and Southern Miss stayed among the winless, losing at Rice 44-17

Out West, Houston running back Charles Sims made his bid for offensive player of the week, scoring three touchdowns and rushing for 119 yards in a 45-35 win over UTEP.
