On Saturday Marshall travels to take on Memphis who will be down a all preseason C-USA player. 6’9 junior forward Wesley Witherspoon, who was averaging over 25 minutes, 11.5 points, and 4.9 rebounds per game was suspended indefinitely by Tigers coach Josh Pastner Thursday. Witherspoon had recently lost his starting spot to sophomore D.J. Stephens but was still playing heavy minutes off the bench.
