According to CoachScoop.com, Marshall University running backs coach JaJuan Seider is leaving for the same position at West Virginia. Seider was in Morgantown today interviewing with Mountaineers head coach Dana Holgorsen and other staff members.

A college quarterback, Seider started his playing career at WVU before transferring to Florida A&M. After a brief stint in the NFL and seven years of coaching high school football he returned to the Mountaineers in 2008 as a graduate assistant.

The last remaining assistant from Doc Holliday's original coaching staff, Seider also served as the Thundering Herd's recruiting coordinator in addition to his duties at running backs coach. A Florida native, he has been credited for MU's strong recruiting presence in the state.

Seider's impending departure marks the seventh assistant to leave Holiday's staff since the season ended in November.
