*UPDATE* Verbal Commitment Watch

From the Charleston Daily Mail:

"If we have made a scholarship offer and the kid has committed, then we will honor that offer," the first-year AD said Tuesday. "That's the right thing to do. That's the proper way we do business at Marshall. If Mark Snyder made an offer that was accepted, we will honor that."

From the statement above it appears Mike Hamrick will honor any scholarship extended to a high school football player by Mark Snyder.

Riverside High School wide receiver Raheem Waiters is still committed to Marshall football:

"They told me the recruits had nothing to worry about,"

"I got used to Coach Snyder and the coaching staff and it's sad I didn't get to play under them," Waiters said, "but it's still exciting to get to play at Marshall."
