No Search Firm

From Chuck Landon of the Herald Dispatch:

Also, there are rumors swirling that head-hunter Bob Beaudine will conduct Marshall's head football coaching search.

Herd fans will remember Beaudine was hired by Marshall president Steve Kopp to handle the search for a new athletic director, culminating in Hamrick's hiring.

At the time, it was reported Beaudine's standard procedure was to do athletic job searches in pairs. If he did one for a college, he also did the next.

But that won't be the case in MU's head football coaching search.

"No, we're not going to be using a search firm," said Hamrick.
