With an injury to standout point guard Jerome Nelson the Orlando Magic have elevated Jason Williams into the starting five. Nelson will have surgery on his knee and is expected to be out 4 – 6 weeks. Today former Marshall quarterback Chad Pennington will see Dr. James Andrews to map out a rehabilitation program for his surgically repaired shoulder. At this point Pennington has not decided whether or not to play next season. From the article it appears that Pennington’s decision might hinge on his ability to compete for a starting spot somewhere in the NFL in 2010.
