Marshall Football: Herd Host two Prospects, Josh Hess & Aqil Tweedy, at Spring Game

Per Chuck McGill of the Charleston Daily Mail, Marshall will be hosting two 2012 recruits at the Green – White game this weekend.

Josh Hess, a 6’7, 305 pound offensive lineman from Richlands High School (VA) will be making the trip to Huntington Saturday. Currently Marshall is Hess’s only written offer but he is receiving interest from a number of ACC and SEC programs. Hess is teammates with current Marshall commitment Devon Johnson, who will also be visiting this weekend.

Aqil Tweedy, a 5’8, 165 pound wide receiver/athlete from Colonial Forge High School (VA) is also visiting Marshall this weekend. Tweedy shared the football field with incoming Marshall freshman Blake and Eric Frohnapfel at Colonial Forge last season.

  1. All the sites have Aqil listed with 4.8 40 speed. Awfully slow for a WR. I thought Doc was moving towards a faster roster.
