Marshall Football:Verbal Commitment Watch, Week 6

Keith Baxter, DB, Homestead HS (FL)

Did not register any individual statistics but Baxter and the Homestead defense held Southridge to 28 passing yards and 166 yards of total offense. Cortez Carter, ATH, Liberty HS (VA)

Blake Frohnapfel, QB, Colonial Forge HS (VA)

In a game where Colonial Forge trailed for the first time this season Blake Frohnapfel completed 3 passes on 7 attempts for 34 yards and a touchdown while the Eagles beat North Stafford 42 – 27. Despite a slow night through the air Frohnapfel picked up 26 yards rushing with another 2 touchdowns. For the season he has thrown for 737 yards and 9 touchdowns. You can read about the game here:

Luther Maddy, DT, Atlantic HS (FL)

Luther Maddy and the Atlantic defense was able to hold previously undefeated Park Vista to one touchdown while forcing 4 turnovers during a 26 – 7 victory. Tommy Shuler, WR, Miami Central (FL)

In a game that featured two of the best high school football teams in Florida, Miami Central defeated Northwestern 25 – 22. Tommy Shuler was able to haul in 4 passes for 48 yards. Anthony Spano, OL, Gulf Coast (FL)

Deontae West, ATH, Hialeah HS (FL)

Corie Wilson, DB, Edison HS (FL)

Levern Jacobs, WR, Suitland HS (MD)

Levern Jacobs is still recovering from a knee injury and did not play in Suitland’s 14 – 7 over time win over C.H Flowers.
