Keith Baxter, DB, Homestead HS (FL)

Keith Baxter saw limited action on offense during Homestead’s 16 – 14 win over Varela with two carries for one yard. Besides his brief stint at running back Baxter and the Homestead secondary held Varela to 63 yards passing. No game story but you can see the box score below:

Cortez Carter, ATH, Liberty HS (VA)

Even though Cortez Carter will be playing linebacker at Marshall his offensive skills grab headlines for Liberty High School. Carter rushed for sixty two yards on eleven carries during Liberty’s 23 – 7 win over Kettle Run. You can read about the game through the link below:

Blake Frohnapfel, QB, Colonial Forge HS (VA)

Colonial Forge continued their undefeated season with a 35 – 7 win over Mountain View. Blake Frohnapfel threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns on six completions (ten attempts). On the ground Frohnapfel gained twenty five yards on five attempts and another touchdown. For the season Blake has 390 rushing yards and 13 TDs while also throwing for 15 more touchdowns with 1,100 passing yards. You can read about the game here:

Tommy Shuler, WR, Miami Central (FL)

Miami Central did not play Friday but return to action this week against Deontae West and Hialeah High School.

Anthony Spano, OL, Gulf Coast (FL)

Gulf Coast High School also had a bye week and will return to the field this Friday against Cape Coral.

Deontae West, ATH, Hialeah HS (FL)

Playing mostly defensive back for Hialeah High School, Deontae West limited Hialeah Gardens to 109 passing yards during a 53 – 6 victory. West does not make the box score but you can see it here:

Corie Wilson, DB, Edison HS (FL)

Edison High School and Corie Wilson completely shut down Killian’s passing attack during a 22 – 15 win. Killian was able to get 148 rushing yards but their passing attack was limited to just 29. Wilson does not make the box score but you can view it below:

Levern Jacobs, WR, Suitland HS (MD)

With out the services of star wide receiver Levern Jacobs Suitland High School beat Oxon Hill 27 - 8.

Devon Brant, LB, North Marion (FL)

For the second week in a row Devon Brant and the North Marion defense did not allow a single point. North Marion beat Newberry 48 – 0. Brant does not make the game story but you can read it here:
