Hassan Whiteside & Tyler Wilkerson debut in NBA Summer League

Former Marshall big men Hassan Whiteside and Tyler Wilkerson made their NBA debuts last night.

In the Sacramento Kings summer league game against Detroit, Whiteside collected 5 rebounds and 5 blocks while scoring 5 points. Whiteside, who started at power forward, led the Kings in floor time with over 27 minutes. The Kings return to action tonight at 8:30pm against Los Angeles (Lakers), head over to NBA.com for live stats throughout the game.

Coming off the bench Tyler Wilkerson was able to score 6 points and grab 5 rebounds for the San Antonio Spurs summer league team. Despite a reserve role Wilkerson played just over 21 minutes, good enough for 6th on the team. Wilkerson and the Spurs next game is Wednesday at 6:30pm against Atlanta, head over to NBA.com for live stats throughout the game.
