Former Marshall big men Hassan Whiteside and Tyler Wilkerson made their NBA debuts last night.
In the Sacramento Kings summer league game against Detroit, Whiteside collected 5 rebounds and 5 blocks while scoring 5 points. Whiteside, who started at power forward, led the Kings in floor time with over 27 minutes. The Kings return to action tonight at 8:30pm against Los Angeles (Lakers), head over to NBA.com for live stats throughout the game.
Coming off the bench Tyler Wilkerson was able to score 6 points and grab 5 rebounds for the San Antonio Spurs summer league team. Despite a reserve role Wilkerson played just over 21 minutes, good enough for 6th on the team.
