Per the official website of Miami University’s football program the home and home series between the Red Hawks and Thundering Herd has been extended to 2017 – 2018.

It had been previously announced that Miami and Marshall would play a home and home series during the 2013 (@ Marshall) and 2014 (@ Miami) seasons. Per the link below it looks like Marshall will host Miami again in 2017 and travel to Oxford in 2018.

Marshall Football: Notable additions & absences from camp roster

Marshall University head football coach Doc Holliday released the Thundering Herd's pre-season roster yesterday. The list of players includes a few notable additions and absences.

First, lets take a look at the big surprise:

It looks like Marshall has added former USC (yes that USC) commitment Steve Dillon to the roster. Dillon a 6’3, 245 pound defensive end from Pomdale High School (CA) signed a letter of intent with the Trojans in February but failed to qualify academically. According to reports Dillon never enrolled at USC and will be eligible if he clears NCAA and Marshall requirements. See Dillon’s rivals.com profile below.
