Per the Twitter account of WSAZ sportscaster Keith Morehouse, Marshall has officially scheduled a men’s basketball game at Kentucky on Saturday December 22nd. Rumors of a possible Thundering Herd, Wildcat matchup surfaced last month.
The two schools last met on the hardwood in 2003, a 89-76 UK win at Cincinnati’s US Bank Arena. Kentucky has never lost to Marshall, holding a 11-0 record dating back to 1914.
