Great story from the Rio Rancher Observer about Roy Slezak who was scheduled to travel with Marshall’s football team on November 14th 1970 from East Carolina. Slezak was friends with Marshall running back Art Harris, it was Harris’s father who invited Slezak to the East Carolina game.
