Today’s update will focus on former Marshall baseball player Nate Lape. Lape was the 2009 pre-season C-USA player of the year after being drafted in the 20th round by the Colorado Rockies in 2008. Unfortunately Lape had a tough 2009 season a went undrafted in the 2009 MLB draft. Recently Nate has ink a contract with the Gateway Grizzles, an independent baseball team in the Frontier League.
