Gator Hoskins at the Senior Bowl: Day One

Gator Hoskins Senior Bowl week started with weigh-ins Monday morning. The Marshall tight end was the shortest player at his position, measuring just over 6-foot-1 inches tall. Although Hoskins came up a bit short in the height department, his arm length (32 inch. & 5/8)  lead all tight ends. He also had the second longest wingspan (79 inch. & 3/8) among players at his position.

Hoskins is on the North squad which is being lead by the Atlanta Falcons coaching staff. Iowa's C.J. Fiedorowicz and Wisconsin's Jacob Pedersen round out the the North's tight ends group. They will catch passes from a trio of quarterbacks this week including Miami's Stephen Morris, Clemson's Tajh Boyd, and Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas.

The North squad practiced yesterday at Ladd-Peebels Stadium, the home of South Alabama's football program. They will return to Ladd-Peebles this morning for another practice from 9:30 a.m. CT  to 11:30 a.m. Later today, the NFL Network is broadcasting a Senior Bowl practice review running from 2 p.m. ET to 4 p.m.. 

We will  provide a daily summary of Hoskins Senior Bowl experience through Thursday's final practice. The actual Senior Bowl game kicks-off on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
