Although the details are not known, a plea
deal has been reached in the case of suspended
Marshall basketball player Elijah Pittman. The court case stems from a misdemeanor
battery charge levied against Pittman in August.
Attorneys will formally submit the plea agreement in Cabell County circuit court next week. During yesterday’s hearing, Pittman’s lawyer expressed a desire to have the case resolved by January 16th, the same date as Marshall’s Conference USA home opener against North Texas.
