Marshall basketball coach Tom Herrion debuted his new look
team yesterday evening at the Cam Henderson Center, defeating Concord 94-60 in
a exhibition game. Featuring a roster with nine new faces, redshirt freshman
lead the Thundering Herd with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing
10 rebounds. Four other Marshall players, Kareem Canty (15), Shawn Smith (15)
Elijah Pittman (14), and Chris Thomas (14) all reached double digits in points.
The Herd starts the regular season on Friday November 8th
as they host South Carolina State for a 7 p.m. ET tip-off.
