Commitment of the Week: Trayvon Williams

A new feature on the Thundering Blog, we are reviewing the weekly performances of Marshall's verbal commitments and anointing one football recruit our "Commitment of the Week".

Offensive lineman don't get the recognition they deserve. The big guys in the trenches are often overlooked by their skill position counterparts.

Marshall verbal commitment Trayvon Williams is one of the forgotten few. A high school senior, the big left tackle already stands 6-foot-3, 316 pounds. Behind their offensive line, Williams's Camden County (GA) Wildcats defeated Baker County (GA) 38-8 Friday night. Despite only attempting eight passes, Camden County managed to rush for 329 yards on 39 attempts, good for 8.44 yards per carry. Helping produce those impressive rushing numbers, Williams is our Commitment of the Week.
