For the second time in two days Marshall’s football staff
has secured a verbal commitment, this time from Florida defensive end Traevon
Sharp.
A two star recruit according to Rivals.com, Sharp was named
the third best defensive lineman in Central Florida according to the Orlando
Sentinel. Besides Marshall, he also had scholarship offers from Cincinnati,
Louisville, and South Alabama. According to various reports Sharp was also receiving
interest from Florida State.
Sharp announced his commitment via Twitter. A three year starter at defensive end for Evans
High School, he stands 6-foot-5, 230 pounds.
