The West Virginia Metro News just released a interview with new Marshall football coach Doc Holliday. Not a lot of information, here are the highlights:
"This Saturday, Marshall will make its first bowl appearance in years with a matchup against Ohio University in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl in Detroit, Michigan. Interim Coach Rick Minter will be leading the Herd.
Holliday will attend the game, but only as a spectator.
Questions about which, if any, of the current football staff members will be retained will be answered after the bowl game.
"They've done a nice job of holding this team together, getting ready for the bowl game, but we'll sit down with those guys after the bowl game or I'll sit down with them and make some decisions and get moving on," Holliday says of those staff members. "
